Food:
Breakfast
Served 8 – 9am and includes a Continental style buffet with healthy cooked choices including porridge, pancakes, kippers, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
Packed lunches
These are available on request – ideally booked the day before, with a choice of smoked salmons or cheeses, plus homemade bread and cake and fresh fruit.
Evening Meals
All our food is cooked on the premises and sometimes will take a little while if we’re busy . . . we don’t do fast food but we do good food as fast as we can !!
We serve a selection of meat, fish, vegetarian & vegan dishes with extensive gluten free options.
If you are staying with us, we will automatically book you a table unless you tell us otherwise, and if you are not staying with us then booking is advisable.
The small print:
Payment & Charges
All prices quoted include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Accommodation prices apply at the time of stay.
Accommodation (B&B) is payable via bank transfer prior to your stay against the pre-payment invoice.
Booking is only secured upon full payment of the invoice at least 3 days prior to the commencement of your stay.
We do not accept card payments of any type, either in person or over the phone.
Bookings for multiple rooms will require payment in full at the of time of booking.
Staying & Visiting
Check-in is from 4pm on the day of arrival please advise approximate arrival time.
Evening meals are automatically booked at the time of confirming your accommodation booking, unless you tell us otherwise.
Rooms must be cleared by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Glenuig Inn is an entirely No Smoking and No Vaping premises, including the accommodation, garden and car parks.
No alcohol to be brought anywhere onto Glenuig Inn property (including rooms); persons/groups doing so may be removed from the premises without further notice.
We reserve the right to collect data or images in any format for the purposes of security and the prevention, or detection, of criminal activity.
Dogs
Responsible dog owners may bring a well-behaved dog for a nominal single charge of £10 per dog, per stay, if confirmed at the time of booking
Non pre-booked arrivals with dogs may incur a higher surcharge per dog per stay.
Well behaved and fully socialised dogs on leads are allowed throughout except on the furniture and beds. They should not use baths / showers designated for guests – we have a hot/ cold external sink for cleaning muddy boots & paws that is big enough for a bath or shower for your dog.
COVID-19
In the event of illness preventing you from travelling and staying with us, we will refund 100% of the amount you have prepaid
In the event that there are further lockdowns or Government restrictions, preventing your stay with us, we will either reschedule your booking to a later date or refund 100% of the amount you have prepaid.
We will collect the information required under Scotland’s Test and Protect COVID-19 regulations for contact tracing.
We have a strict 2 metre distancing policy at all times on site both indoors and outside.
Etiquette
To ensure that no-one is disappointed whilst staying with us, or visiting us, we publish some guidelines as to the standards of behaviour expected of our guests and visitors:

We do not tolerate swearing, lewd or abusive behaviour or any form of behaviour deemed to be anti-social by any guests or staff.
We are not under any obligation to serve alcohol to visitors or guests, whoever they may be, and under whatever guise they may have booked accommodation.
We provide facilities suitable for individuals, couples, families, friends and groups to enjoy the outdoors, and to be able to relax and enjoy a civilised meal and drink, and will not change this policy.
We reserve the right to remove offenders from the premises, regardless of accommodation having been booked or not.
The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 applies to all.
