Using the best ingredients possible and ensuring everything is as local, natural and organic as we can get it, we serve a seasonally changing menu accompanied by Real Ale, Scottish gins and single Malts!
We change our menu regularly to make the most of the fresh ingredients available at the time, healthy, natural and as local as possible is our speciality.
All our food is cooked on the premises so sometimes will take a little while if we’re busy . . . we don’t do fast food but we do good food as fast as we can !!
You’ll find a selection of fish and seafood dishes on our menu reflecting our coastal location; including smoked salmons, prawn tails and mussels. Scottish field and game including dishes with venison and lamb. Smoked Scottish cheeses and a delicious array of desserts, home made ice cream and cakes. We prepare all our dishes on the premises and make our own bread & cakes. Vegetables and salads, chutneys and jams accompany the dishes as appropriate. As a healthy and sustainable business we don’t have a deep fat fryer and therefore chips are not an option!
Every dish is clearly marked Vegetarian (V), Vegan (Vn), Nut-free (N), Gluten-free (G) or Dairy-free (D) and other options are available, just ask.
Open all year from 4pm with evening meals served from 6 – 8.30pm. If you are staying with us, we will automatically book you a table unless you tell us otherwise, and if you are not staying with us then booking is advisable!
You will find a bar stocked with Real Ale, organic wine, un-chillfiltered whiskies, Scottish gins, plenty of natural soft drinks, and not an additive in sight!
As a sustainable business, we have deliberately turned away from the ubiquitous and mundane, away from artificial additives and global corporates, instead, we focus supporting the independent producers and on providing real taste, real flavour and a real alternative, and we trust you too will enjoy this refreshing approach to refreshment . . .
