At Glenuig Inn, we provide a regularly changing, high quality, seasonal menu that makes full use of the bountiful larder on our doorstep, and there's something for everyone.
You’re likely to find a choice of seafood dishes reflecting our coastal location; a selection of our own smoked delicacies; the best of Lochaber field and game, and fresh vibrant vegetables from around Scotland.
Every dish is clearly marked Vegetarian (V), Vegan (Vn), Nut-free (N), Gluten-free (G) or Dairy-free (D) and other options are available. Our full menu is available All day, Every day, All year from 12 noon to 9pm.
Cullen Skink (N)
The traditional Scottish favourite, a rich broth of smoked haddock, potatoes, and leeks.
Hebridean Blue Cheese Brûlée (V,N,G)
A savoury brûlée, packed with the flavour of Mull’s famous blue cheese, served with peach chutney, caramelised peaches, gooseberry sauce, and oatcakes.
Chicken & Smoked Ham Hough Terrine (N)
Studded with smoked ham and capers, this chicken terrine packs a punch! Served on fresh salad, with spiced tomato chutney, micro-herbs, and sourdough bread.
Crab Cocktail (N)
Locally caught crab, dressed in a mildly spicy Marie Rose sauce and chopped dill, parsley and chervil. Served with pickled vegetables, micro-herbs, and toasted croutons.
Salmon Rillettes (N,G)
A decadent paté using our home smoked salmon. Hot smoked, cold smoked, and roast salmon rolled and served with fresh leaves, pickled cucumbers, and a dill and cucumber dressing.
Pan-Fried Halibut (G)
Our signature seafood dish: a bed of pesto, sweet potato and fresh mussels support the star of the show – the majestic halibut. Seasoned to perfection and complemented by a dill and cucumber dressing.
Roasted Rump of Lamb (N,G)
Beautiful Scottish lamb served on a broad bean purée and accompanied by potato dauphinoise, haggis bullets, broad beans, and finished with a deeply rich mint jus.
West Coast Mussels (N)
Our sourced locally mussels are cooked simply in a creamy, white wine and parsley sauce with plenty of rye bread to dip in.
Pan-Seared Sea Bass (N,G)
We serve this delicate white fish with crisped skin on a potato and courgette rosti. The supporting cast include fresh pea sauce, Kintyre smoked mussels, and pea shoots.
Barley Risotto (V,N)
Our take on the perennial Italian classic. This is a rich, creamy risotto is packed full of seasonal vegetables and finished with Dunsyre blue cheese.
Glenuig Cranachan (N,G)
Our interpretation of the Scottish classic: a honey pannacotta with raspberry coulis, whisky jelly, oat crumble, and a caramel oat brittle.
Orange & Almond Cake (N,V,G)
Bittersweet orange sponge served with a dark chocolate ganache, marmalade ice cream, and crystallised orange peel.
Clootie Dumpling (V)
A traditional Scottish pudding rich with mixed fruit and spices, complemented with Drambuie custard and vanilla ice cream.
Scottish Cheese Selection (V,G)
Chef’s choice of Scottish cheeses from our wide selection. Paired with fresh fruit, chutney, and oatcakes.
